How old where you when you started gymnastics?
"I started gymnastics when I was about 6 or 7."

What is your favorite thing about gymnastics?
"My favorite thing about gymnastics is the competitions."

What is it like training at WOGA with some of the top gymnasts in the country?
"It is neat training with some of the top gymnasts because our own competition is right here in the gym and we push and help each other out. It is like having a competition in the gym everyday!"

In your opinion, why is WOGA such a successful gym?
"WOGA is such a successful gym because we have World and Olympic coaches and the top juniors in the country."

What has gymnastics taught you?
"Gymnastics has taught me to be a better person in and out of the gym. It teaches you a lot of discipline."

What do you feel about fanmail and about how much of it do you get?
"I love getting fanmail. I usually get about 5-10 letters a week."

How do you feel about your performances at the WOGA Classic and US Classic this year?
"I am very proud of my performances at both of these meets because I has just come off of an elbow surgery (WOGA Classic) and knee surgery (US Classic).

Are you very close with your WOGA teammates?
"All of my teammates and I are very close. We do all kinds of things together all of the time. We are practically sisters!"

What are your short-term and long-term goals in gymnastics?
"My short-term goals are to place in top five at Nationals and hit 8 for 8 routines and possibly make it to the Goodwill Games. (They are taking juniors.) My long-term goals are to win gold at the 2003 Worlds or 2004 Olympics."

What advice would you give to up-and-coming gymnasts?
"My advice would be to follow your heart, believe in yourself, and go for it!"

If you could give one message to all your fans, what would you say?
"A message to all my fans would be 'Thanks for believing in me and cheering me on throughout my career.' "
